Professional Recruiter

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant that will utilize cutting edge recruiting tools, partner with in-house sourcing and research partners in an effort to locate, attract specific talent for client needs. Career Transitions, LLC works with some of the most respected companies throughout the Midwest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full life-cycle of the recruiting process from start to finish.
  • Partner with a group of assigned clients with signed requisitions to assist in their recruitment efforts.
  • Recruit / source, contact, screen and interview candidates.
  • Assess candidate’s competency to include job fit, motivational fit and culture fit.
  • Complete the recruiting process, including facilitating selection, negotiating offers and owning the relationship between the candidate and client.
  • Assess the current situation in recruiting for the positions you support. Meet with the hiring manager and learn critical aspects of position, indicators of success, and ideal candidate profile.
  • Identify and utilize internal and external resources available to assist in proactively seeking talent in a competitive recruiting environment. Internal resources would include leading cutting edge recruitment tools and partnering with internal sourcing teams as well as the extensive use of Social Media to identify talent.
  • Follow the Career Transitions recruiting process and produce verifiable metrics to support activities. Full use and disposition of candidates inside Bullhorn Applicant Tracking System.

Requriements:

Bachelor’s Degree required with 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably third-party technical recruitment.  The successful incumbent must be a team player that is capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.   He/she must be an inquisitive, business-oriented self-starter who is passionate about recruiting and can effectively multi-task.   Must have strong interpersonal skills with high level of maturity combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.   The incumbent must also be organized, focused and articulate, with the ability to confidently interact with clients at all levels, including senior management.

Career Transitions encourages work / life balance.  This position can be centralized from our office location in the Edison Lakes office complex in Mishawaka or a combination of office and home based, depending upon situation.

Internet Researcher / Sourcer

Summary:

Career Transitions, LLC, a premier recruiting and staffing firm based in Mishawaka, IN is currently seeking a high energy, motivated Internet Researcher to join their growing operations.  This person works in tandem with on-site Recruiters in the identification of targeted candidates with specific skill sets for career opportunities throughout the Midwest.  

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Performs searches of various databases, both web-based and internal resources to locate documents and information required to complete sourcing projects.
  • Works collaboratively at all levels of the organization in sourcing detailed information regarding potential candidates.
  • Uses time management skills effectively to balance multiple projects. Strives to meet or exceed both internal and external customer requirements.
  • Follows established company guidelines on responding to requests for information and/or services and responds to all communications in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with internal departments as needed to resolve inquiries.
  • Utilizes multiple software applications to perform various tasks necessary to manage daily work load.
  • Escalates inquiries or requests as needed to the appropriate level of management for immediate action.
  • Handles other miscellaneous tasks as required.

Experience, skills and abilities:

Excellent internet searching skills.  The ability to scrub databases for appropriate data.  Experience in a role requiring research to locate detailed information from one or more resources and convert that information into a format for others to interpret and utilize.  Strong computer literacy including keyboard skills and proven experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).  Demonstrated experience in detail-oriented tasks and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Ability to learn and retain requirements for multiple tasks and to effectively move from one task to another.  Staffing research or experience working in a production environment and achieving daily measured goals.

Account Manager

Overview:

As an account executive, you will spend your days talking to hiring managers assessing their employment needs and securing recruiting services on behalf of Career Transitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish long-term relationships with clients.
  • Develop new clients to introduce recruiting and outplacement services.
  • Negotiate terms of agreement details for recruiting and outplacement services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fact sheets or related documents on all clients and targeted potential clients.
  • Spend 100% of time on the new client development and maintenance of existing clients.

Qualifications:

Formal Education:

  • College degree preferred but not necessary.

Skills:

  • Familiar with PC-based systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Excellent customer service skills      

Experience:

  • Successful sales and/or marketing background.

Other: 

  • Sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate success in getting and maintaining accounts.
