Outplacement
Services
Unfortunately, all employers are faced at some point with the
inevitable business necessity of having to terminate an employee.
Whether the separation is a result of performance issues, corporate
restructuring, a merger, an acquisition or the simple fact that
an individual’s capabilities no longer match the needs of
the position, employers should handle the termination in the most
humane manner possible and within the confines of the law. Our
Career Management Division offers solutions to assist employers
in addressing these circumstances. From separation planning and
managerial coaching to documentation and client consultation, our
Team of highly skilled experts has solutions to address these very
special business needs.
Our staff is armed with everything an employer needs to design
a system — complete with forms, protocol and procedures — to
ensure that terminations are conducted professionally and within
legal guidelines. And once the employee is terminated, our career
management professionals step in to successfully transition the
individual from the organization into a new career opportunity.
Our firm offers a broad range of outplacement programs designed
to address the typical needs of most organizations. Each program
provides career consultation, coaching and support to help ease
the terminated employee's feelings of defeat, grief or anger and
focus him or her on the options and opportunities now ahead.
Our in-resident programs are designed to meet the needs of employees
whose job search will entail many hours of research, coaching and
preparation. In each program, planning and execution of the job
search campaign includes resume preparation, cover letter writing
and interview follow-up techniques, interviewing skills training,
salary negotiation advice, participation in periodic training programs
and in our weekly Job Club networking forum. All in-resident programs
include office space, telephone, voice mail, e-mail, computers,
full Internet access and supervision of the displaced worker's
daily job search activities to ensure an appropriate level of effort
is being made in return for the client company's investment. To
assist client companies in capping their financial commitment,
all ancillary costs, including printing, long-distance, postage
expenses, etc., are included with each program.
- Executive Program (For Duration of Job Search)
- Standard In-Resident Program (Up to 6 months)
Our non-resident programs are designed to facilitate the transition
of large numbers of employees over a relatively short period of
time. In each program, a workshop format is used to impart large
bodies of information. Individual counseling sessions are subsequently
scheduled to focus on the specific needs of each client.
- Quick Start Program (2 to 4 weeks)
- Modified Quick Start Program (1 to 2 days)
Through the use of various Internet services and telecommunication
methods, our web-based product has been developed to facilitate
and deliver long-distance career transition services in a very
efficient manner.
