The Multigenerational Workforce

For the first time in history, four generations are working together in many organizations. It is important for HR Managers to understand the differences and similarities among the 60 year age span to best capitalize on the strengths each generation can bring to the workplace. The four generations are: Traditionalist (born 1922 - 1945), Baby Boomers (1946 - 1964), Generation X (born 1965 - 1980), and Millennial (born 1981 - 2000). While strengths and leadership style preferences vary among these generations, each generation ranked honesty as the most important leadership quality!
