Why Culture Fit Matters

According to David Love, in his article titled "The Importance of Culture and Diversity in Successfully Building an Organization," "Finding, maintaining, and growing the right talent is crucial to business success, especially in this economy. But academic intelligence and a strong resume are not necessarily the most critical elements of a top candidate. It can be much more crucial to fit into the corporate culture, its inner values, rituals, rites, and perspectives, with a compatible personality, creativity, flexibility, and social adaptability."

The cultural "fit" question is often the soft skills an employee brings to an organization. At Career Transitions, LLC, we strive to fully understand an organization and its dynamic relationships before submitting a candidate. Within our organization, we conduct preliminary screening that addresses the technical skills, education level and salary in order to qualify the candidate. As we progress through the interviewing process, we focus on the candidate's personality and previous environmental successes so we can ensure that a new employee will be the best match for the client.

Let Career Transitions, LLC become an extension of your HR Department to help your organization continue to prosper with our Staffing Services, HR Consulting, Career Management, Coaching and Succession Planning.
